Led Jeff Burton and the No. 31 Racing team to an eighth-place finish in the 2007 NASCAR Cup Series championship point standings with one win, nine top-five and 18 top-10 finishes.
Guided the team to their second consecutive berth in NASCAR's Chase for the Cup in 2007 — it was the first time all three RCR teams qualified for NASCAR's 10-race playoff format since the concept was introduced for the 2004 season.
Helped RCR clinch its first berth in NASCAR's Chase for the Cup in 2006 with the teams of Jeff Burton and Kevin Harvick — it was the first time RCR teams qualified for Chase for the Cup.
