Career Highlights

Led all three teams (Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton and Kevin Harvick) to NASCAR's Chase for the Cup in 2007 — it was the first time all three RCR teams qualified for NASCAR's 10-race playoff format since the concept was introduced for the 2004 season.

Guided Clint Bowyer to his first Cup Series career win at New Hampshire in 2007.

Helped steer the teams of Kevin Harvick and Jeff Burton to RCR's first berth in the Chase for the Cup in 2006.

Named Richard Childress Racing's Vice President of Competition in 2006.

Named Richard Childress Racing's (RCR) Director of Team Operations in 2005.

Named RCR's General Manager of Competition in 2004.

Project manager for construction of RCR's NEXTEL Cup Shop (2001-02), RCR Racing Museum (2003) and new engine shop (2004).

Named advisor to RCR's NASCAR Busch Series teams in 2001 after retiring as a driver midway through the season — in six seasons on the Busch Series tour, Dillon posted three top-five and 15 top-10 finishes.

Teammate to Kevin Harvick in 2000 during RCR's first full season of competition in the NASCAR Busch Series.

Substituted for Dale Earnhardt in 1997 NEXTEL Cup event at Darlington Raceway and for Mike Skinner in 1998 at California Speedway.

Ran a full NASCAR Busch Series schedule for owner Ron Parker in 1996 and finished second in Rookie of the Year standings.

Made his Busch Series debut on Oct. 7, 1995, for RCR at Lowe's Motor Speedway where he qualified eighth.

Won 1994 track championship at Tri-County Speedway in Caldwell County, NC. Won late model stock car races at North Wilkesboro Speedway and South Boston Speedway.

Captured Rookie of the Year honors in 1992 at New River Valley Speedway (Radford, VA) in the NASCAR Winston Racing Series.

Started racing motocross competitively at age 11. Over the next eight years he amassed over 200 American Motorcycle Association (AMA) wins.
